Developed a VR drumming game in Unity that allows users to practice silently using HTC Vive controllers as drumsticks, minimizing noise compared to traditional drums. Modeled the drum kit and music stand interface, which enables users to select, pause, and play along with their favorite songs. Incorporated 3D-printed pedals for bass drum and hi-hat control, utilizing an Arduino system for input detection. The game dynamically adjusts drum hit velocity based on controller speed at impact, and I implemented safeguards to prevent double hits when the stick passes through the drum head. I handled all C# scripting for the experience, built it for Windows and Mac, and organized extensive playtesting with a diverse group of users.
