This shader, combined with particle systems, creates a real-time effect that makes the asset appear to burn and dissolve as if on fire. Designed to be on-brand, the style was inspired by Star Wars burn and fire references. The effect was achieved using HLSL code, Unity Shader Graph, VFX Graph, and custom particle systems, all optimized for real-time performance. Many of the assets featured were designed by other artists while I focused on the burn-away effect.
